OCTOBER 2017 Blog

Our Chariho Community has been deeply affected by the lost of one of Chariho's finest, Maddie Potts.  Maddie had a positive impact on so many of us here at CHS and she will never be forgotten.  Her influence has extended well beyond the Chariho region.  We are grateful for the outpouring of support from RI, MA, and CT students and school districts.  It is touching to see other sport teams wearing blue in support of Maddie or honoring her number 11.  Internally, we are so proud of our high school students for their support of one another this past week.  They have leaned on one another other and have lifted one another up.  We are grateful to our faculty and staff for their unwavering support of our students and each other.

This month's blog is dedicated to Maddie and below we capture some images from the past week.  We will never forget #11, Maddie Potts.

In closing, we would like to remind parents of Open House, which will take place on Wednesday, October 4th.  We are looking forward to connecting with you.  Please click here for a schedule of events.  During their advisories on Monday and Tuesday, your children will be asked to highlight their teachers' names so that you will know who to connect with on the day of Open House.

#Forever11,

Craig M. MacKenzie, Principal & Andrea J. Spas, Assistant Principal
